Core

Our core technology is the design, development and delivery of
ultrasonic energy in the most effective manner to achieve the
requirements of our customers' applications.
Ultrasonic energy consists of high energy pressure waves in a
frequency above 20 kHz.
Our primary focus is on
the therapeutic application of ultrasonics for surgical
instruments and on derivative technologies for drilling and core
sampling during planetary exploration missions.
Currently Cybersonics holds several U.S. patents for ultrasonic technology applications.

mechanical engineers have the expertise and experience to design
and develop complete systems which incorporate all the safety and reliability
features required for operation in surgical and other
harsh environments.
Our production facilities and
procedures have been developed to provide the superior product
quality and product tracking required for contemporary medical
devices. We understand compliance to IEC 60601, UL, TÜV,
and FDA as
they apply to controlled products. Cybersonics is ISO 13485
certified.
